Description

Ripples of Time consists of 6 glass panels, 70 x 70 cm each, framed in stainless steel and suspended from the ceiling. The distance between the panels is prescribed as it refers to moments in the life of the artist. The installation has the purpose of being a timeline. For the installation the minimum required space is 3.5 x 2.7 meter. The panels are to be spaced out as follows:

• Panel 1: at least 150 cm from an opposing wall or object
• Panel 2: distance to Panel 1: 20 cm
• Panel 3: distance to Panel 2: 45 cm
• Panel 4: distance to Panel 3: 35 cm
• Panel 5: distance to Panel 4: 80 cm
• Panel 6: distance to Panel 5: 55 cm

Height from floor to bottom of each panel: 120 cm
Distance between the two fixings for each panel: 65 cm
Minimum distance between sides of panels and opposing walls/objects: 100 cm Minimum distance between last panel and opposing walls: 150 cm
