Radiant Dusk

The west of Cyprus, where fully overcast skies are the rare exception, is very often the canvas on which the radiance of the sun can only be tolerated at dusk. The setting of the sun transforms the sky into a stunning palette of colours, ranging from soft pastels of pink, lavender, and peach to vivid hues of orange, red, and purple, gradually fading into deep blues and indigo. This variability was the inspiration for the Radiant Dusk series, the radiancy being symbolised by the use of fluorescent pigments.
